Joy All Around

Things have been busy and joyous here on Dogwood Lane. We are so blessed. Our darling granddaughter turned two. She is a treasure beyond description, funny and smart. Gives her brothers a run for their money. My sweetheart.

And, it's graduation time! How could this have happened? Our eldest grandson has grown up and now he's a high school graduate!

He'll be off to university in August having earned top honors in his high school career. We're so proud of him! Not only is he intelligent but also kind and good to his Gram.

Handsome too!

So grateful every day. Until next time,

  5. So wonderful to watch our grandkids grown up. My grandson is a little younger but had his hair the same way for quite awhile. He liked looking like one of the Beatles.

    1. The hair kinda drives me crazy but I know that this too shall pass so big deal. It's clean and so is he :). His dad had his hair so long he used to have me braid it!! It drove his dad wild! Now he shaves his head...

  6. Hi Patrica, doesn't your lovely created Apron look fabulous on my beloved kitchy cabinet...a treasure of mine. Our Apron isn't alone, I have several other swaparoos adorning my kitchy..it is a place of honor for I love my cabinet...a rescue from an antique mall, in very poor condition...we saved her and dolled her up a bit.

    1. That apron looks right at home hope you are able to use it as well. You did a great job restoring your kitchen cupboard - so cute.

    1. I do have quite a spread. The eldest is 18 and the youngest will be 1 this month. My middle son was anxious to be a dad and so there was no waiting for them to have kids, my oldest son took quite a while to find the right woman but once he did it was full steam ahead in the baby department, and my youngest was married for 11 years before their miracle child came along. SO you see you just don't know what life has in store - we went from 2 grand kids to 6 in the space of a few short years. Life is GRAND!
