I was determined to get this baby done before I started on another thing and I'll bet you all as tired of hearing about it as I am of working on it but.. didn't it turn out great? I just love it. It measures 96 x 108 and I had to hang it off the back deck to get a full picture. I'll be sending this one to my friend Karen Parker in Billings, Montana to be quilted. She does a wonderful job and I want it to be special as it's going to be a keeper for my bed (hope the bats will like it). Patchwork Times has lots of eye candy and inspiration so go and see.
Until next time,

It's beautiful!

DeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! I love the colors. It's going to look beautiful on the bed. I can't stand bats, I mean they totally freak me out, screaming and shaking. I'm not sure why as I'm pretty good with other critters like snakes and lizards, even spiders. But, bats---I'm a goner. Please post pictures of your quilt when it gets back from the quilters. Each of the blocks are so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAngie this is not the last you'll see of this one believe me. I know the quilting will add so much.
DeleteIt turned out great!

DeleteBeee-yooo-ti-fulll!!! Absolutely wonderful that you finished the top and it came out just as you planned. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie!!
DeleteCongratulations on your perseverance. The sampler blocks are set off beautifully by the strong diagonals of the puss-in-the-corner blocks. The squares look like beads (rubies? garnets?) on a string.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are striking! I love it!
